The excerpt below is from a recent email from @Business Management Daily. When I read it, it got me thinking about times when I decided that I’d had enough of a particular outcome and needed to do some things differently…it was the straw that broke the camel’s back!

That critical moment: Every leader’s got one. Will you recognize yours?
In the early days of building The Huffington Post, Ariana Huffington was one of the busiest people on Earth. One day in the middle of yet another stretch of hectic activity, she fainted, hit her head on her desk and woke up bleeding. Exhaustion had simply caught up with her. She made the choice then to slow down, disconnect more often, say no to more things. She recognized that she couldn’t do it all—and wound up reaching greater heights than most of us ever will anyway. Taking more time off work, getting more sleep and shutting off devices that held her captive didn’t cost her at all in the end. It created a happier, healthier influencer.

How about you? I’d love to hear about the straw that broke YOUR camel’s back!
